R. Jed McCarthy
FOUNDING PARTNER AND CO-PORTFOLIO MANAGER
Partner in charge of all trading and portfolio management. Municipal professional for 40 years. Formerly a member of the Investor Advisory Board of the MSRB. Founding Partner of Prager, McCarthy & Sealy, a dealer specializing in the origination and secondary trading of municipal securities where he managed all of underwriting, sales, trading, and arbitrage. Previously a Senior Vice President at L.F. Rothschild & Co.
Received an AB in Economics from Brown University.
John J. Lee
Founding Partner
Partner in charge of all non-portfolio management responsibilities. Former Director of Credit Suisse First Boston/Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette in the mergers and acquisitions department. Advised on more than $100 billion of M&A volume.
Received a BA in History from Boston College and an MBA from Columbia University.
Daniel Bingham
PORTFOLIO MANAGER HIGH GRADE STRATEGIES
Dan is a 30+ year veteran in the municipal bond industry. He joined the firm in January of 2022 from Build America Mutual, a municipal bond insurance firm, where he was head of institutional markets. Prior to Build America, Dan was Managing Director and Head of Municipal Trading at Goldman Sachs, where he worked from 2007 through the end of 2019. From 1988 to 2007, Dan worked at Citigroup Global Markets, all in municipal bond trading.
Dan is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology.
Brent Sheehan
Portfolio Manager and Head of SMA Strategies
Joined the firm in April 2017 from Morgan Stanley where he was an Executive Director and responsible for all retail high yield and taxable municipal bond trading. He has over 15 years of experience in the municipal bond market. Previously was a Vice President within the high yield municipal trading team at Merrill Lynch focusing on credit and retail municipal bond trading.
Received a BS degree from the University of Scranton.
Michal Sulkowski
Head of taxable portfolio management
Joined the firm in March 2020 after a 20-year career at Barclays/Lehman Brothers where he was a Director focused primarily on taxable municipal bonds and relative value trading. Formerly was a Vice President of Quantitative Credit Risk Management at Lehman Brothers.
Received MBA from New York University and BS in Business Management from State University of New York, Geneseo.
Lisa Anton
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Joined the firm in 2007. With over 15 years of broad managerial experience in running operations, she is responsible for managing daily trade operations and support. Former Office Manager of the NYU Child Study Center, where she managed a staff of 80.
Received a BA in Psychology from New York University.
